New Apex Legends patch fixes weapon balancing

Last month, Respawn Entertainment — now owned past EA — launched a battle royale experience called Apex Legends. While it's unclear what this will include, we got a sense of taste of some of the changes today. Respawn just released a new patch for Apex Legends which addresses longstanding balancing concerns. Weapon adjustments

Wingman

  • Rate of fire reduced from 3.one to 2.half dozen shots per second.

Upcoming changes

Major balancing

  • Hit box size reductions and optimizations for Caustic, Pathfinder, and Gibraltar.

Minor balancing

  • Caustic's traps will increase their cooldown from 25 seconds to 30 seconds.
